Amaztravel.com is the provider of this website. Use of this website is an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to our terms and conditions. Do not use access this site if you do not agree to any part of the terms and conditions. Additionally, only persons 18 of age or older may use this website, as travel plans include binding contracts. AmazTravel is incorporated in the state of California, USA, and thus California laws are applicable to our company. AmazTravel reserves the right to modify the website or to change the terms and conditions in any way. By using the website, you agree to whatever terms and conditions are in effect at the time of your use.
1/ Information on Website
These terms are applicable to www.AmazTravel.com. This site and all of its contents, including text, software, and images, are the copyrighted property of AmazTravel and are for personal use only. No part of the site's contents may be reproduced, changed, or distributed without the express written permission of AmazTravel. You may only use this site to make reservations and purchases of legitimate travel arrangements; you agree that you will not use the site to make fraudulent reservations or purchases.
2/ Accessing Amaztravel.com
AmazTravel reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to its website at any time, and such termination will not affect any legal rights or equity relief to which AmazTravel is entitled. We cannot guarantee that our website content will be available at any given moment, as there are times when we may need to suspend, discontinue, or change our website without notice. You must not misuse our website; if you knowingly inflict harm on our website by sending us any form of virus or other destructive material, or if you attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or any computer or database connected to our website, we reserve the right to report such cases to the necessary law enforcement authorities.
3/ Reservation & Payment
After receiving your inquiry, an AmazTravel representative will contact you within 24 hours to help create a tour plan. A 30% deposit will be required to secure any booking you choose to make. When we have received your deposit and all necessary documents, we will complete the reservations for you as listed in the itinerary. Please try to reserve a tour at least 60 days before the departure date. AmazTravel reserves the right to request a higher deposit or an advance payment during peak season to secure your booking. The full or final payment needs to be made 45 days before the departure date; if you book less than 45 days before the departure date, full payment is required. AmazTravel reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary and offer alternatives for a revised itinerary in the case of an extraordinary event beyond our control (Force Majeure clause). Accepting receipt of deposit or final payment will demonstrate that you and your travel agent have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. We accept 5 methods of payment: Credit card, Wire transfer, Check, PayPal, and Cash. If the situation arises where required confirmation cannot be made in time, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund the cardholder's account for our own and the cardholder's protection.
4/ Package Trips Cancellation Refund
We must collect all deposits when reservations are made. The amount of the deposit, the amount of the refund, and the deadline for canceling vary according to our Rules of Cancellation. Should you choose to cancel your booking, please submit your cancellation in writing; refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.
If any paid travel-related services have not been provided to the client as per the tour itinerary, the client shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the AmazTravel cancellation policy. The cancellation fee is calculated as follows:
1) 45 + days prior to scheduled departure date: 0% of the full payment per person
2) 30-44 days prior to scheduled departure date: 10% of the full payment per person
3) 15-29 days prior to scheduled departure date: 20% of the full payment per person
4) 7-14 days prior to scheduled departure date: 50% of the full payment per person
5) 0-6 days prior to scheduled departure date: 100% of the full payment per person
If you choose to substitute traveler(s), this will be treated as a cancellation and will follow the above schedule. Additional cancellation-related service fees by third parties (banks and payment platforms, airlines, cruises, hotels, railways, etc.) will be deducted from the total refund amount.
5/ Other Than AmazTravel
All airlines impose cancellation and change fees, which can be 100% for some discount tickets as well as any increase in fare. In addition, if your flight is delayed for any reason, the airline is not responsible for costs you might incur as a result. All cruise lines and some hotels and car-rental agencies impose cancellation and change fees. Please review the relevant procedures for more information before you make your booking. AmazTravel reserves the right to charge an administrative fee on airline tickets issued through this website when there is a purchase, change, or cancellation fee imposed by the airline. You may change or cancel a hotel reservation made on this website at any point prior to the hotel's cancellation deadline. Cruise lines may change their respective itineraries at any time and are not responsible for traveler costs incurred as a result. If you choose to cancel a cruise but have not purchased travel insurance, there will be a cancellation fee charged per cabin plus any additional charges by the cruise.
6/ Terms And Conditions On The Car Rental Service
If your pickup place is at an airport, our driver will wait for you at the terminal for maximum of 100 minutes after your flight arrives. If you encounter issues that will take a long time to resolve (eg. Luggage is damaged…), please contact your driver immediately. Otherwise, our drivers will assume clients forgo their service (without refund) and leave.
If your pickup place is at a hotel, our driver will greet you in hotel lobby. Because there are limited parking and expensive parking fee in Japan hotels, our driver can only wait you for a maximum of 30 minutes. If you encounter any emergency, please contact your driver immediately. Otherwise, our drivers will assume clients forgo their service (without refund) and leave.
If your pick up place is at a cruise terminal, our driver will only wait for you for a maximum of 40 minutes. If you encounter any emergency, please contact your driver immediately. Otherwise, our drivers will assume clients forgo their service (without refund) and leave.
If we could not provide the transfer service because you have provided incorrect information on address, flight number, cruise terminal name, or pick up time, we will not refund for the transfer service.
Japan has strict regulations on luggage quangtity during car transfer. If your luggage exceed the accepted number pieces, we reserve the right to withdraw the transfer service; the extra passengers and luggage might have to arrange other transportation at your own expense.
Regarding the chauffeur service for one day (maximum 10 hours), if the drop off place is not the same as the pick-up place, especially when the drop off place is out of Tokyo, our 10 hours service includes the time that drivers driving back to Tokyo.
7/California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF)
California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has CST# 2127148.
California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) covers if the seller of travel was registered and participating in the TCRF at the time of sale and the passenger if located in California at the time of payment. Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim.
